Here’s an interesting story to come out of the Holiday Season.

The team over at BroCraft Gaming has announced their Minecraft Controlled Christmas Tree, which allows players to modify a real life Christmas Tree’s lights from within the game itself.

Here’s the promo video they made showing it off:

Needless to say, it’s a cool example of what could be possible with Minecraft, a little code, and a Raspberry Pi to control things in the real world, and has our imagination opening up to more ideas.

You can test out the Minecraft Controlled Christmas Tree and learn a bit about how the BroCraft team built it at the source link below, then head over to the BroCraft server to see it for yourself!

Do you have any ideas for something you’d like to build like this in Minecraft?
